Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is a therapeutic treatment that utilises movement in warm water to support the recovery and management of a variety of conditions, including osteoarthritis, orthopaedic disorders, neurological conditions, and soft tissue injuries.
Scientific research has demonstrated that hydrotherapy, when combined with movement enrichment techniques and therapeutic handling, promotes a full range of joint motion in a low-impact environment. This approach not only enhances muscle tone but also encourages tissue repair, all while minimising strain on the joints.
In addition to its rehabilitative benefits, swimming provides a comprehensive workout that improves overall fitness, boosts cardiovascular endurance, and plays a key role in the recovery process following injury or surgery.

Your Pets Session
Assessment
This assessment includes:
-
Observation of stance, posture, and conformation
-
Gait analysis to evaluate movement patterns
-
Palpation (hands-on examination) of soft tissues and joints
-
Functional tasks such as stepping over obstacles or jumping, where appropriate
The goal is to gain a full understanding of your pet’s condition so we can deliver a tailored treatment plan.
Treatment
Throughout the session, your pet’s movement is closely monitored and adjustments are made in real time to ensure they achieve maximum therapeutic benefit.
